Magnetic Attraction for Positive Experiences

Magnetic attraction is a scientific concept especially used in physics. It refers to the force that one object has to attract another. One example of this is a magnet which attracts a metal. However, this is not a scientific website, so if you think the only magnetic attraction at work in your life is the one that’s keeping your grocery list attached to your fridge, keep on reading to discover how to use magnetic attraction for positive experiences n your life.

You’ve probably heard that when it comes to magnets, opposites attract, and that is true. However, when we refer to human beings and life experiences, the opposite applies; ie. like attracts like.

Here’s how this works: When a person has a predominant negative attitude, he will tend to attract people that match his attitude. This is obviously not in his best interest. He may feel that terrible things are happening constantly as if there was a black cloud hanging over his head. You probably know someone who’s always complaining about how this or that happened or how some person did something terrible to them.  In other words, negativity attracts negativity.

Magnetic attraction, whether good or bad, is a type of magnetic force and it will attract according to your attitude and vibration. This is not to say that you should always be happy and positive. We all are human after all, and life ha sups and downs. What this means however, is that what you are attractig has to do with your more frequent state of being.

Thus, when a person tends to attract negative people and situations, that’s a result of this principle. On the contrary, a person can feel attracted to another one that has a good attitude and similar vibration to theirs. When this happens we call it  “chemistry.”

So, how can you use magnetic attraction for positive experiences in life? By deliberately attracting what you want! But before we go on, let’s remember the law of attraction principles which dictate that you must first be clear on what you want, then decide to put out a request for the universe, and have faith that it will manifest while you wait to receive.

Some people refer to this as praying, while others ask directly for the universe to deliver it. The point is to request what you want in the way that’s most comfortable for you and do it with certainty, instead of begging for it. Then, you must believe that you will get it, and of course, do your part to facilitate the materialization of it.

By following these steps, you can use magnetic attraction for positive experiences in your life as many times as you desire. As you do this, you create a force through your thoughts that when mixed with unwavering faith and belief, will pull the things you want in your direction.

Once you use magnetic attraction for positive experiences in your life, you will also be practicing the principles behind positive thinking and deliberate creation. And this is when things get even better, for practice makes perfect and these principles are the basis for living a happy life. Positive thinking and deliberate creation make you focus on what you want to do or to achieve, with unbreakable certainty. When you believe it’s possible, and you start visualizing, the rest unfolds as it by magic.

Let’s say that you are an athlete and want to break a record. You are ertain you want to run a mile in 10 minutes or less.  Imagine the following and use magnetic attraction to achieve your goal. The process includes sitting comfortably in a quiet place where you won’t be disturbed so you can relax for a while. Close your eyes and meditate on your intended goal for a few minutes. See yourself running, visualize the running course and actually feel the wind on your face and your muscles contracting as you take speed. You can even hear your heart beating rapidly and feel your sweat running down your forehead. You feel confident that you will achieve your goal. As you approach the end of the mile, see yourself crossing the mark, all while visualizing a timer at a few seconds before the 10 minute mark. Feel the excitement and enjoy it for a few minutes before you open your eyes. Then go about your day.

This same approach can be used in other areas of your life, like the financial or relationship areas. You must know what you want, believe that you can have it and see yourself getting it in your mind first. This positive thought and belief will then put out a magnetic pull to the things you want to attract to yourself, like financial prosperity or a better relationship with a special one.

Now remember… there’s one thing that’s very important and many people miss: You MUST jump into action according to what you want to attract into your life. In the case of running the mile in less than 10 minutes, go out and get fit. Practice and practice some more. Do what you must to achieve this goal. If what you want is to manifest a money downfall, work harder, give more presentations, get more clients, or do more of whatever your line of work calls for. If what you want is to improve your relationship with your partner, be kinder, help around the house, or go on weekly dates, for instance. You get the idea!

If you happen to steep into negative thoughts, you may notice you’re drawing negativity to yourself. As long as you are aware of this and remember the principles mentioned abbove, the negative ocurrences will be small and temporary. Remember, like attracts like, so switch to a positive attitude as soon as you can to attract positive things and people to your experience.

Pay attention, and you will see the truth of this principle all around you. Think of people you know and see the kind of people or situations they attract. Positive people tend to attract positive friends, relationships, and events, while negative people seem to always have one crisis after another. Magnetic attraction can be a blessing only if you deliberately create based on positive thinking and action. Never forget this and you will mostly dlive a life of bliss!

    Yes, I have an experiece to share: About 5 years ago my car was having all kinds of problems. It was in and out of the garage often and it was costing me a lot of money. I was not making enough money at my job and my credit was not great either. I could not qualify for another car, so I was keeping afloat and hoping for the best. Eventually my car died and I had a couple of rough months, but by that time I’d started reading The Secret, praying and focusing on the positive side of things. One day, out of the blue I got a phone call. There was a $3797 check owed to me by a company I had worked for and had gone belly up. This happened almost 7 years ago, so I had given up on it. I was jumping up and down after the call. The check and the $1000 I got for my clunker allowed me to buy a preowned used car in excellent shape, and all in cash! I became a believer in positive thinking paired with praying and manifesting with the mind.

    I recently learned in Scientific American (a scientific magazine that my hubby gets) that everything in the universe is vibration. Up until now I thought that vibration was some pseudo-science brough about the secret and positive thinkers. Not that I didn’t believe in personal development and positive thinking, I just thought the vibration thing was a bit too woo-woo. I must say I was surprised and happy to learn this new concept (new to me), and frankly it makes a lot of sense (the scientific mind in me, haha) Now I pay more attention to my moods and energy and observe how they affect what I attract into my life. I’ve become more mindful as a result.

      That is fantastic, Sarah! You are not the only one that feels this way at first. After all, we are not talking here about something tangible that can be easily perceived with your five senses. It requires paying attention on a regular basis and developing the sexth sense to notice the subtleness of energy and its effects in our day to day lives. Best!
